The Druidic Reformed* University is located in the lovely, little, Bay Area suburb of Dublin, California, mainly because in makes such a cool acronym -- DR*UID!  (We meet outside, under the trees, so we could have put it anywhere.)  This unique school also has 3 satellite campuses, located in nearby Golden Gate Park, Big Sur and Yosemite.  You really ought to visit the satellite campuses!

Nearby is Berkley's big Celtic Studies Center.  DR*UID's Big Tree Studies Center is located in the remaining Redwoods.  This is our wee sect's largest and oldest grove.

From time out of memory, and long before writing came to Ireland (with Latin letters anyway), future druids were required to master a daunting number of talents at the University, or Ollscoil in Irish Gælic which means All-School .  Druids were not just wise men, peace makers, and healers for their folk, they were walking almanacs, encyclopedias and the cable weather, Discovery and PBS channels of their day.  Druids had to be masters of the Earth, Sea and Sky.  The giant curriculum to master explains why druids always seem to be old folks.

Tuition is FREE, but the admissions requirements are tough.  Traditionally druids are the second-born in their family.  To be accepted, candidates must have shown aptitude in many talents, come of their own free will and accord, and under the tongue of good report.  Plus they must get a perfect score on the LSAT (Luge's Silly American Test).  Luge Long-Arm, the god of many talents, is the patron god of All druids.

The 3 Departments are Earth, Sea and Sky.  Graduation requirements for a druid include All courses in the catalogue:  geography, geology and surveying (to bring peace to boundary disputes); farming, herding and hunting; ancestry, custom and law;  herbs, potions and healing; divining, foreseeing and far-seeing; smithing, woodcraft and knoting; sailing, navigating and fishing; poetry, music and lore; and astronomy, cosmology and meteorology.  And, of course, story telling.

This coeducational institution has a current student enrollment of zero, equally divided between lads and lasses. With a faculty of 3, this All-school has the highest student-to-teacher ratio possible in the Real world!
